Hey all, I did the C305 removal almost 8 years ago and have had the fuel pump replaced once in that time frame.  About 6 months ago the gauge began acting erratically.....no matter I used the computer and trip meter.   So I bought a Delphi sender and pump and had it replaced.  The gauge got stuck at almost half full for about 70 miles before I filled up, then the needle went up to 7/8".  Do the floats ever stick?  My tech is thinking the resistance has changed since I cut out the C305, but that was done years ago.

It is quite possible that some corrosion got into the fuel sender wire at the C305. That will cause all types of funny issues.
