2004 AWD Aztek is on the fritz

Hi guys,
Hopefully someone can help me. I have a 2004 Aztek AWD with 174,924 miles that struggles to accelerate & loses power when going up hills. It's currently accelerating very rough especially on the interstate whenever you try to reach 60 on up. I have had the transmission checked which came back fine. I have a few codes ok getting as well as an AWD disabled error but I don't think they should be related to the acceleration. The codes are P0420 & C0035 ( Which I believe is causing the AWD light). A few other things that's going on is the tachometer doesn't work anymore and the temperature & speed gauge freaks out all the time, also my cruise control has gone out as well. I know this is a lot going on but hopefully someone can steer me in the right direction.
Thanks in advance

The C0035 is a code for a bad wheel sensor for the left front wheel, which would cause the AWD Disable light
The P0420 is a code related to the Catalyst system, could be a O2 sensor, could be a Catalytic Converter, both, or something else entirely.
Whens the last time you did a tune up on the engine? How many miles? How many miles since the Tune Up? Was the tune up done using quality AC Delco parts, or just some random off the shelf crap?

I've had vehicles exhibit this issue before. Usually it is when the catalytic converter is breaking down and getting plugged. An easy way to verify is remove the oxygen sensor before the converter and secure it out of the way with a zip tie. Run the vehicle down the road and see if your problem goes away.
