So I have been curious on what the possibilities are in getting this website smart Phone compatible. More and more websites are upgrading the format so it's easier to browse on a iPhone and other smart phones.
Is it possible? What are the costs behind it?

Huh, interesting.. I saw this thread and totally thought you were going to ponder whether an upgrade to smart phone would be worth it..
As far as making afc smartphone compatible: would it be worth it? How many people on here would actually visit it via their smartphone?
I hate to be all negative-nancy but the costs might outweigh the benefits.. Although I have no idea what the costs would be, so I guess we cant say for sure yet..
Good thought though!

It's been over a year I have not touched the AFC on pc... Hence the reason for lack in my presence... I do 90% of my Internet on my iPhone... And believe me it's not a very friendly sight on the smart phone... It bugs often... As for the cost... I'm curious...

I admin another fourm that is phpbb powered... I run two "smart phone" systems ontop of my fourm to give users a choice. ForumRunner and TapaTalk. Both are pretty neat and are free - AND they are updated alot (sometimes crazy fast, like back-to-back days). SCUBA I'd recommend either - you'd have to see if they can plug into/run with Simple Machines or not (I don't remember off the top of my head) and then do all the admin type stuff. I can't get into the site/server that deep. PM me with any questions SCUBA. P.S. I have a "dumb as a brick" phone, so I don't really care but am happy to hlep you techy tek drivers LOL --- Long live the PC! --- heehee

Let me update this thread...
Since smartphones have become the norm these days, I am working on installing TapaTalk. It should be up and running soon.
