Title: Plastic piece part number or fix?
Post by: jbro on April 04, 2014, 09:24:47 PM
I have a broken piece of plastic on my driver's side seat (see picture).  It is the circle that is supposed to anchor that big plastic piece. Is there any way to replace it or get it so that it won't be flailing around every time I nick it with my shoes?

Check out gmpartsdirect.com. The seats are under the "body hardware" category. Since I don't know how your particular Tek was optioned, I don't know which piece you need. If I did my research correctly, it looks like both the knob and the cap would cost about $35 to replace. You'll have to email them to confirm parts numbers.

Hope this helps.

Thanks.  That helped.  It stinks that the piece of plastic is $35.

Yea it does. The plastic trim at the end of the right rear window on mine flew off, and it costs about $35 too. Ive just been driving around without it.
