Hi folks,

Does anyone know how to remove the panels inside the driver's door? You know, the one's that are above and below the armrest on the 2001 model. Some rat bastard smashed my window and damaged my door so I got a whole new door that has the camo fabric panels instead of the "leather" ones. Do they just pop off or are they glued? Thanks in advance Tekkers!

hey, sorry to hear of your misfortune.  There are a couple of screws if I recall on the underside of the armrest, then there are a bunch of those plastic clips that break easily if you're not careful with them.  After those retainer clips are pulled you must slide the panel upward.

Woody, you would have to change the entire door panel. The fabric inserts do not come seperate from the door panel.  They are glued onto the door surface, so you might be able to find a scrap piece of leather that matches and you could cover over it possibly.
