Hey.... In the effort to continue customizing the 'tek, I'm looking to do some custom upsholstery work.... Since i've got the tribal on the side of the car, I'd like to add some to the inside.   Where I need help is that I'd like to cover some panels with material,  but have a tribal design raised off it a bit (3-D) effect...

I've seen this done a lot on car doors, and headliners with flames, etc...  I was wondering if anyone knows how to go about doing this?... I know you cut out foam or thin wood to the design you want to be raised, and then put the material on over it.   But is there any special way to adhere the material around the raised portion so that nothing folds, or creases??

Help!
