I am picking up an Aztek next week and I wanted to know if there was a website where I could use my VIN to detrerming the intalled package options? I know I should have taken the info from the door, but it's I forgot and now they'll be closed until Monday. I was hoping to add a towing hitch, but I see from reading here that a towing package doesn't come with a hitch so maybe mine come with what I need internally already Thanks

First off, look in the little compartment drivers side rear hatch area. Remove plastic cover, and there is a list of "RPO" codes in there. This should tell you what options your AZTEK came with. Find this out and then our NEWFIE (brother) could tell you what you should have.... KBro

a RPO code of V92 is what you should be looking for. This code means that the Tek has been factory built with the auto self leveling rear suspension, HD coolant system, a 125 amp generator vs 105 amp, transmission cooler, and heavy duty rear springs, and is capable of towing up to 3500 pounds.
Since mine did not have the RPO V92, I needed to add rear air shocks, and a transmission cooler to start, and will be looking to upgrade the radiator, and most likely the rear springs to accomodate the 2800 pound dry weight camper we just purchased.

My Aztek has the V92 code, but my hitch is the 1 1/4". Is that right?

THe V92 Package did not include a Hitch, only as drex stated the Alternator, load levelling etc. The hitch was installed at the dealer, mine has a 2 inch but there are others that have the 1 1/4' receiver. I think it depends on who installed it. My Aztek has the V92 code, but my hitch is the 1 1/4". Is that right?

Another tip is that the 5th digit on the VIN determines what drive it is
A= FWD B= AWD
