Smiley I have noticed this for a while and I thought it might just be me, but now it is really bothering me.....When I turn on a street, around an exit, a corner...my steering seems rough and wobbly.  Does anyone else notice this? Or am I just crazy  ?  This happens all the time.  I can feel it on the floor and in the steering wheel.  Let me know! Smiley

I kind of had the same problem and came to fine that my rear and front vehicle frame had to be pulled. I had never had any problems other than minor bumps in the road but somehow my frame was off. Just a thought, could possibly be something else.

I've never experienced this... I would check the tie rods, steering rack bolts, steering shaft linkages and based on the above post, all four engine cradle mount bolts and bushings. Good luck!

Is it when you turn one direction only or both ways?
I had  previous car that did it going one direction and we found out that it was the ball heading to the grave.

Yea, check those lower ball joints and strut bolts or even the lug nuts for tightness. You mentioned a wobble, that could be a very dangerous condition! Please get it checked out soon!

Goddess, This could be something as simple as Low Tire pressure.

Is there any rattleing noises? Thumping sounds? Viberations at any speeds?
You could go to the your local Goodyear , Firestone ,WalMart ,ie... store to get a free check up.
GOOD LUCK,

Hmm.. I think she would notice that her tires had low pressure just by looking at them... doubt that is the cause.

You might be suprised how low tire pressure can be and not look like it. When we picked our Tek up brand new from the dealer the tires looked fine, a week later they still looked fine. Fortunatly I decided to check them just in case before heading out of state the following weekend. Tire pressure: 11psi, foolish me for thinking this is something the dealer would check during final detail and prep for the customer.

It is always a good idea to check the tire pressure regularly.   It probably won't be the cause of the problem in this case but it can't hurt to check.  Your tires will last much longer if you check them regularly and keep them at the right pressure.

Tire Pressure.....hhhhhmmmmm. ..I usually check and fill when I change my oil.  But this is a constant problem that I notice this every day I turn a corner.  I always say something to myself about it.  It has happened with my Tek since I bought it, I thought it was normal, I had my tires rotated and I thought it would of gone away, but it hasn't.  I have 23,400 miles on my car. I will have to go to my local garage about this.  I will check my tire pressure before I take off today and see if thats the problem.  I will let you guys know.... Smiley

Could also be bad belts in the steel belted radials. Hope it's nothing major.

Yeah I dunno what I am going to do.  I but no one will feel what I feel.  Usually they don't.  I am going to let my boyfriend drive it and see if he notices, if not it isn't worth trying to get anyone else to notice it.
