Anyone ever done this or know of any kits or cross over parts from other models that might work?

I discussed this same topic back awhile ago.  With the recommendations of many knowledgeable folks including Newfie Hauler, the Parts Manager, and The Service Manager at my Pontiac Dealership, I dropped the idea.  It was set up for a reason from Pontiac on the AWD they say. Those particular reasons I don't know but I questioned taking the rear axle of a FWD Buick Rendezvous with rear Disc and swapping with on my Tek.  I guess if money was no object you could find someone to do it safely including changing the braking proportioning on the Master Cylinder but when the above named told me not to, I believe them.  These guys have never steered me wrong so I owe it to them not to start questioning them now.
