Hi Guys...

Are the OEM pads and rotors really that much better? The price is double of
the jobber parts. I see people buying Yellow or Green stuff...

- Front rotor - $202 each
- Rear rotor - $215 each

- Front pads - $201
- Rear pads - $171

Any comments let me know as i will end up buying the OEM as last resort.

I've used both - and after market ones work just as well. SOME parts after market is fine. I am currently using after market pads and rotors on my Aztek and the wife's Sunfire - all work great.

I'm in the same boat with a new rim. OEM is $330 each (and that is at a discount!) I can get an aftermarket "cool rim" for around $150 each.

I used the EBC Yellowstuff pads and EBC Slotted and Dimpled rotors and their quality and performance was far superior.   And now looking at the prices that you posted, the EBC prices were equal or lee is I recall.
