Is Wayne Brady Gonna Have To Choke A *****?

Thanks all!  It's starting to look better, but I have a lot of things already on order that are coming in bit by bit, so I'll have more to show you here soon.

No, I didn't use Tirerack or Tiresdelivered.  My father-in-law works for a courier service that delivers tires and rims around KC for some of the chain stores, and he is friends with a guy at WheelPros.com who gave me wholesale price on the Diamo rims, and threw in the tires for $100 apiece!  But since he can't sell direct to the public my father-in-law then called in a favor with another friend who is a manager of a Tires Plus store that did the mounting, balancing, and installation for only $85...so I got those rims and tires for a grand total of only $1147.

Regarding the Flowmaster - its a single pipe coming out the right side but its a new muffler and wider gauge pipe now.  I didn't show any actual pictures of the tailpipe because my tip hasn't arrived yet, and the guys at Midas said they'd just weld on the tip for nothing if I came back with it.  That was supposed to be Saturday but it didnt arrive in the mail.

This week I have the electric blue glassweave dash kit going in, black ventguard covers for the headlights, and the muffler tip.  I'm ordering all new bulbs for every exterior lamp on the Tek, so that the headlamps, taillamps, and even the turnsignals will be ultrabrite blues.  After that's done, its on to the LEDs...w00t

ungoliant13 when did you get the Tek from Dave Cross? I called around the area when I was "shopping" and seem to remember a blue one was on their lot when I called - think they just had the one at that time. I would have called in mid-June 05.

that tek looks awesome  minus the tek part hehehe   hey the moonroof can you post a pic of what it looks like inside  ive been trying to figure out how they will do the headliner  does it match the visors?  how much did it all cost
thanks bud Smiley

Aztek-Knight - I bought it in October 2005.  It may very well have been the same Aztek you had called and asked about, because it had apparently been on the lot a while, and was being used as a loaner car for shop patrons.

Intrepidclub - I was pretty angry about the headliner, because even though I had asked SPECIFICALLY if they were going to replace the entire thing or just cut into my current one, (because I loved the original headliner of the Tek) they tore the entire thing out and replace it all with matching gray padded cloth.  I mean, they DID do a nice job, and its very professionally done and if I hadn't known what the original headliner looked like I never woulda known it hadn't come from the factory this way.  But I did know, and I was pissed off about it.  I'm used to it now though.

This picture shows the inside of the sunroof with the headliner cover closed.  It has one handle area at the front, and two black "vents" at the back.  The picture doesn't show that very well.

This is the button for the sunroof.  I went with one of the lower end models, and its a single-action open or close sunroof.  No pop-up, or anything like that.  Just open and closed.  Which was fine for my needs.

The sunroof cost me in the neighborhood of $980 I seem to remember.  I know it was like just under a grand.  They also could have done an inside-opening sunroof, but it would have cost way more, and also would have taken some of my headroom away.  So I just went with the over the top opening kind.
