In my case I would have to change the rear axle ratio.  Since mine is a 4x4 then I will have to change the front axle too.  You can also use a tuner to reprogram the ECU.  The Tek I don't believe has any type of tuner available.  the only real performance upgrade the seems likely for the Tek is to do what Brenner did and drop the 3.8 supercharged engine in the Tek.

All I have to say is "wow, another unique Aztek"  whether it be cosmetic, performance or functionality,  I love a mod and respect those who attempt it.
