Hello,

I have recently completed a head gasket job on a 2001 Pontiac Aztek GT that I purchased almost a year ago. It's been running for a little over a month now but for the time that it has been running, there's been this awful high-pitched squeal that's been present. It is not belt or pulley related as I have removed the belt and it still does it. I'm starting to wonder if it is vacuum related, but I replaced the PCV valve tube, the EVAP purge tube and the Crankcase Vent Tube with no change in the situation. I'm hoping it's not a plenum leak being that the upper intake gaskets as well as the lower intake gaskets have also been replaced. Anyone ever have this situation? I have attached a video to the this post demonstrating the issue. Thank you!

With the engine running, spray carb clean/Starting Fluid around the intake. If you notice a change in the idle at any point, you have found a vacuum leak.
