hello ! i have a 2004 pontiac Aztek and it runs and starts fine but when i take off it goes good until it hits about 3500 rpm then its like someone cut the throttle cable and it gets super sluggish and i have to let way up on the pedal and bearly push it down and it ll catch but then go right back to what i call limp mode ! please help

There are a lot of possibility's, ranging from a Fuel Filter, to a bad sensor.

I would start with checking for MIL lights, and getting the code read.
