01 Pontiac Aztek - Does anyone know which pins I need to jump on the OBD to download malfunction codes using the Service Engine light ?

I don't know if that trick works anymore and if it does, don't know which pins, but most major auto parts stores will check the codes for you for free as will some dealerships...failing that, wal mart farm and fleet, or any of the parts stores sell code readers...Yes, they can get pricey, but you can also get cheaper ones for $25 or a little more that just read the codes...I went a little higher in price and got one that reads the codes AND can erase them so I can see if a particular code comes back.  The super cheap readers won't erase the codes, they just read them..

if there is a harbor freight around you, they can run pretty cheap there for a basic reader (Centech for $49.99) for example  Tongue
