Well, I got the bill for service and it cost me all of my funding for the trip and then some, so unfortunately I won't be able to make it this year.

We all have to make sacrifices, but we each will take a vacation right???

I'll be there, getting all of 15 MPG or less with the camper in tow.

Well, I'll be there.  Driving all 1300 miles, getting (hopefully) 23-24MPG with my Acetone addition to each tank.  Tongue

Actually gas is a huge reason I am not going, that and I am a little worried about the Aztek- it's getting up there.

I know most will take a Vacation, but there is a huge difference in money spent between a 2 hour drive and a 12 hour drive.

I will miss you all though, and wish I could be there.

I'm still going too.  But I completely understand everyone's concerns about gas.  In fact, this may very well be the ONLY rally I'll be able to ever attend if the prices keep going up like they say.  (No way any of us could make a 1000 mile trip at $10 a gallon).  So, if this DOES end up being my only rally, I hope the ribs at that bbq fest RAWK.   :afro:

If Gas hits anywhere over about $5/gallon I'm going to seriously look into other ways of fueling my vehicles.
