2003 in Electric Blue

« Reply #1 on: October 15, 2013, 07:45:26 AM »

A few of us are still around, although it's a dwindling group. I came late to the party in 2009 when I got my baby - definitely a lot quieter here now, but still some action :-)

It's never over

I traded my Tek back in 2008 for a truck.  I'm still around every couple days.  I miss my Tek lots.  A guy at work drives a yellow Tek like my or one- less all of my addons

El Azteka is still here :^)
Although it is getting harder to keep clean and Modify him, due to school payments and HW, I try my best. I do log on here once a week since it is pretty much quiet but hey some people still post and if I can help I try
Since I always forget how to add pictures here I will leave a link to my FB Piks.
Last thing I got done was my HIDs. At first I wasnt satisfied bc they looked blue but I got them changed and now they are 5000K I LOVE THEM.
I think I do need to adjust my headlights aim because I don't feel like the HIDs are all that bright but we'll see
Here are some piks of him, hopefully they work b/c I have them locked(I dont really like ppl looking at what I have since I have no garage, but I always have him in front of my house so not that big of a problem)

Who else is still modding theirs?

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=587253571311679&l=4d09151ab4  5000K

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=471007696269601&l=9995b6bba8 as you can see I had the blue HID kit here which was supposedly 5k but to me looked more like 6kish

You should. I installed it myself, it isnt hard at all just make sure the wires dont get in the way of moving parts and you should be fine. I connected them directly to the battery and have a switch in the hole under the stereo/heater area. N thanks. :^)

I finally was able to join thanks to Ken the new owner of the site.  I've got an '03 awd that I bought new.  Just did the C305ectomy....and then studpidly went to get my emissions done.  D'oh!  Failed the "readiness" test due to the disconnection of the battery.  Now I'm shopping for tires...what a pain in the ass.  No mods, completly stock.  I tow with the car an awful lot and haul wood flooring in the back, as I'm a wood floor carpenter/refinisher and the Aztek is my personal vehicle and my work vehicle.  It takes a beating!

I don't get in here much but I've still got mine.........162K and fires right up.  The front end is starting to creak and the tranny will have the unknown intermittent slip, but can't complain.
