Hey all.  Just joined up and I thought I'd ask a question of fellow Tek owners.

What problems have you had?  I have gone through 2 bcm's 1 radio, one HVAC unit and numerous other electronic parts.  It's also had the air conditioning condenser replaced.  All this in under 2 years and 25000 miles.  Other than that, it's the best vehicle ever made.  Here's a pic of mine...

Basically I'm having many more problems then I listed and I'm almost off warrenty.  I just wonder if I should be asking my dealer for a new Tek or move on to something different.  The problem I have is that I love this damn thing and it would be awful to get something else but if there is lots of people having many problems then.................

((  2 cents )) If you like the tek as much as you say then I would probably trade up to a new model. It seems like every new model year has even better goodies on it than the prior year.Thats what I would do if I was in your shoes.

I have an 02 and it has had no problems in 15,000 miles.  If you enjoy your 01 Tek I would suggest getting a newer model.  It seems like a lot of the posts concerning problems on this board concern the 01 model.  GM has worked out a lot of the bugs since then.

Welcome to the Club!

28K miles so far and these are the problems i've had:

-Passenger side driveshaft to tranny seal replaced (seeping tranny fluid, no drips or puddles though)
-Both front window regulators replaced(windows worked fine, but I complained about a "popping" noise)
-Retained accessory power relay and fuse box replaced (caused a/c to quit, probably my fault because I messed around with the fuse box tinkering etc. :ignore: )
-Hatch didn't pop the first time a couple times

Thats it! Smiley

Don't trade - Use your warranty and get the things that need fixed now. Remember that anything that is replaced comes with a 1 year warranty.  ^_^

This Black AZTEK is way to cool to give up. :cooldude:

Remember the 36mo 36,000 mile warranty. Get the dealer to fix evertyhing before the time or milage is up. At least it will be on record for these prolbems..
GOOD LUCK,    KBro
