I have a 2003 Aztek and for some reason my brake light has come on and the stupid warning chime is constantly going off. I have taken it to a mechanic and he has gone through it a has not been able to find a single thing wrong with it mechanically. To try to stop the chime he tried to disconnect the master cylinder sensor and the abs sensor neither worked. He even tried sending out the dashboard to have it checked and reprogrammed. The only thing that has worked is to remove the radio because the chime goes through the speakers. Now my question is, is there a single wire in the wire harness going into the radio that sends that warning chime that I could disconnect so I could still use my radio? If so which on is it?
