OK y'all, it has been awhile since i purchased this package, and some better deals have come along that I would like to pass on the information.

Now as for the bulbs themselves, there are a few good places that have bulbs available at a better price than the original ones offered above.

check out on ebay:  tmiledtechnology- they have red and amber, but not the white for reverse.
V-LEDS - they have many different choices including the interior LEDs I installed in my Tek.

Just placed my order for LED conversion for tail lights, reverse lights, license plate light and interior dome light - including flasher module.  I got the flasher module from the DMAuto place you mentioned, but got the LEDs through Amazon.com because I had a $100 gift certificate for there.  LED's cost $77 bucks, so to me they were completely free.  Cept for the flasher module...that stunk.  Woulda liked to have gotten that though Amzon too, but the retailer didnt carry em.  Anyhoo...everyone keeps telling me these are truly plug n play lights, so I hope they're right and all I gotta do is swap bulbs for these.

Brian, is it cool if I ask you tons of questions when I get them in case they're not exactly plug n play?  Or are they really that simple to install?  (no one has any photos showing an install!)

no worries- ask as much as you wish.  Yes very easy to install.  The new LED bulbs will have the exact base as the OEM bulbs.

Ok, just a lil bit of information follow up.

The flasher relay that was listed above in the second post may or may not work properly with the LED's.  I have spoken with the people at Napa (again above edited post) they cannot confirm that the module listed will work the LEDs correctly.  The part is listed for use of traditional and LEDs.  A local Napa store I had visited had sold one to a guy that was having the "hyperflash" issues, and this one did not correct it.

I contacted Grote, the manufacturer of mine, and was told that it is a variable load electronic module.  I took apart mine to fine it quite different than the OEM one.  I am trying to get in touch with Cal (first post) to see if he has more and the price.

I am having some issues with my unit.  The LEDs all work and flash properly.  Unfortunately, there is something internal that is leaving a trace source of voltage which is telling my Cruise Control Module that I am applying my brakes.  This was all found out after the dealership replacing everything dealing with the cruise control, and still not working.  Just for S & Giggles, I removed the new electronic one and reinstalled the OEM one and voila the cruise now works.  Now, the cruise control had worked for a long time after my initial LED install.  Several months ago, it just stopped.

The unit that I have installed is the Grote model 44140.

http://grote.com/product.php?product_number=44140

I will provide further information when I receive it.

Dave- If you haven't installed that flasher- you might not want to, as electronic parts usually are not returnable after installation.  The pins will show signs of use if you install it only once.

Oh, also I forgot to mention that the standard flasher is about $35 at Napa, and the Electronic one is over $100.  They do not stock them- only special order too.

So if you are fine with the fast flash of the turn signals you will be OK.

here is one other place that has the variable load LED flasher.

hehe...I totally missed this message from you back in April.  Yes, I can confirm that the flasher module originally posted does NOT work properly when yuo do an LED conversion.  I am getting the hyper flash.  But, I finally got the reverse light, tail light, and license plate lights converted to LEDs and they are bright as heck.  They just flash super fast when I signal...no biggie, and its sort of a neat effect anyway.  I'll live with it.  Smiley
