The car is missing the original gas cap. I have noticed on eBay some oem caps but they do not lock. Is this car set up so gas can not be stiffen? Or do I need to get a locking gas cap.

I use a locking cap on mine. Too many people I know have had their gas siphoned to risk it. It looks stupid at the  bottom of the huge side port, so I put a hinged cover over mine.
