Hi, Y'all! Mt name is Tim. I am in DFW and have become one of the newest members of the AFC. I just bought a '04 Rally Edition. Other than not being able to find where the horn is, which is why the guy sold it to me for not a lot of $$$, I'm digging it!

Hey TimHusker, welcome to the AFC from Toronto, Canada - hope to see you around the site! The Rally Edition is beautiful, so congrats on your new ride. You'll find this site super useful, there's a ton of knowledge here and some great people, and it's been a big help since I got my Tek in 2009. You should share a pic of your new baby :-).

I'll do that, once I figure out where the heck the darn horn is and how to replace it. I've parked it a a friend's house right now until I get it fixed. Texas is kinda cranky about passing cars without a functioning horn. So, without a passing inspection, you can't get it tagged.  Angry
So, when I get it fixed and legal, I'll post a pic.

I'm also on the hunt for camping gear for is, as I wasn't lucky enough to get all those goodies thrown into the sale. (They didn't have any of that stuff.) Good news is I did find a place to get key fobs for cheap and they programmed to my 'tek with crazy ease! So, my worries about having a drivers door lock that is incompatible with my ignition key is now a moot point....and I don't have to climb into it from the hatch every time I lock the car.
