Hello everyone,

Just introducing myself around. I live in Northern VA. and just purchased a 2004 FWD 'Tek. It has 148k miles on it, so I will undoubtedly be here looking up things a lot. It's not my only car, so I will be fixing things as they go, but I plan on using it as my daily driver.

It had an engine squeak when I bought it so I've replaced the water pump, belt tensioner and accessory belt (which did seem to solve the problem).

I'm very interested in installing the DIC components in the vehicle and that may be my next project. If it lasts for 6 months the next thing it will get is new suspension. I'm excited and looking forward to it  Cheesy

I'm also curious what everyone's opinion is as far as the LIM goes. If it's done ~150k miles, is it reasonable to think that has been replaced already? Shouldnt it have needed to be replaced by now...? Curious to hear what you guys think.

Hi, and congrats on the new ride. Hope you enjoy it.   For the LIM gaskets, the updated part came up sometime in 03' so I think you should be good there
