I am the proud owner of a 2001 Aztek. As a college aged kid I am proud  to say I've convinced many of my friends into thinking the Aztek is a pretty cool car after hearing them make fun of it. The fact that Walt drove one on Breaking Bad likely helped. The Aztek was bought new by dad in 2001 and he received much the same reaction I do from friends. Despite that he kept the car in great shape besides a few scuffs and dings here and there. The car became mine when my father passed away in 2011 from cancer. I cherish this car so much because it's one of the few things I can connect with the reminds me of my dad, as weird as that may sound. I've been a long time lurker of this page and just want to share my gratitude with all the other Tek owners that have helped solve some of the problems I've had with the car. This car is more than a car to me. It has so many memories and describes me in some ways (kind of goofy, but super versatile and clever).  My stereo recently took a dump and I'll hopefully be upgrading to a new deck so I may start to post more things. It's very encouraging to see other Tek owners posting and sharing!

Hi Zj, I'm new to the forum.  I just wanted to say I can totally relate to being that connected to your car because it defines so much of your life.  I've had most of my adult wanderlust adventures with my Aztek and I dread the day I have to clunk it !!!!     ~ Wanderlust
