I'm not sure I ever figured out how to make the Forums board do what I want.  For instance, I can click on 'view post' and it will show me any new post from all forum areas.  What if I really want to view all post from all forum areas for, say the last week or month?

I did notice that within a given forum topic area the botom of the screen offers a drop down feature to view previous 'X' number of days post but, it appears, only within that given topic area not across all topic areas of the fourm.

Help please.

With this forum I don't think there is any possible way to do that.  I know that in the upper right hand corner under "Members" it says "View New Posts" and you can view ALL the posts since you last logged in.  But as for a way to view withint the last week or 30 days, I don't think it's possible without going through each forum.

Hey, I found the thing you were looking for.  Right above "Board Statistics" (the last block on the main forum page) it has four options.  One of them is "Today's Active Topics."  If you select that it shows you all topics for today but there is a spot at the top that you can select from any day in the past week, the past week, or the past month to any today.  That I think is what you were looking for.
