Here is an updated letter I did.. I'd like to change a few things, put in the name of this years charity, etc etc.. Copy/paste into word and it looks good.. Comments/thoughts?

Quote
Pontiac Dealer Name
General Manager

Dealer Address

City, State, Zip

Dear ,

My name is (your name) and I am a member of the Aztek Fan Club, www.aztekfanclub.com, and owner of a beautiful 2004 Aztek. Our club has been around for many years and has promoted Pontiac and “the Most Versatile Vehicle On The Planet”. As of today our site has more than 1,500 members throughout the United States and Canada.

When the Aztek was discontinued after model year 2005, we are asking Pontiac dealers in our club member’s area to consider donating any items that are no longer needed that are related to the Aztek or any items that can be used with the Aztek to our club. We will take all donated items to our “2008 International Aztek Rally” in Loudenville, Ohio (June 19th-22nd ) and auction them off with the proceeds going to charity. Last year the club donated $500.00 to the Mohican Area Growth Foundation, and the year before that we donated $700.00 to the Melon Center at the Cleveland Clinic. As of today we have 21 members and their families.  Approximately 40-50 People, and more will surely sign up as well.

Anything Aztek related is welcome, no matter how big or small and would be very much appreciated. We would also appreciate it if you could talk to your Aztek Owners about our Club, Rally and our cause.

To minimize your inconvenience, I would be happy to pick up anything that you would be willing to donate to us in a timely manner. Also our organizers would help with the cost of shipping if we need to. Please feel free to contact me in any way convenient for you and I would be happy to stop in and meet you.

Thank you in advance for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you.

                                                            Your name

                                                            Address

                                                            City/State/Zip

                                                            Your phone

The only thing I would add is ....

21 members and their families.  Aproximately 40-50 People.

Change  “2007 National Aztek Rally at The Point” to "2008 International Aztek Rally"

Change "We would also appreciate it if you could talk to your Aztek Owners about our cause" to "We would also appreciate it if you could talk to your Aztek Owners about our Club, Rally and our cause.

Just some suggestions

As far as the Charity goes, we have not really decided on one as if yet.

I am impressed as well as proud to be a member of the club. I thought it was just a bunch of Aztek worshipers. I now know the depth of the caring members of the club, like I said I am proud to be a member. I will tell my wife, who was a little skeptical of us joining.

oops... too late.

Yes, we are a highly misunderstood group.  We are here for Aztek support, friendships, the occasional get-togethers, and the safe haven of like such individuals. We share helpful tips, share stories of our travels, our families, our lives, sometimes our dear ones passings, and every once in awhile, take a jab at such creatures like the Homda smElement, the Scion, and yes even our cousin the Rendezvous.

Please continue to participate and spread the word about the AFC for any other Azteks you may see in your travels.  It is the active participation of the new and not so new members that keeps the site alive, informative, and entertaining.
