Pontiac Dealer Name
General Manager

Dealer Address

City, State, Zip

Dear ,

My name is Scott Savage and I am a member of the Pontiac Aztek Fan Club, www.aztekfanclub.com, and owner of two beautiful Aztek's. Our club has been around for over two years and has promoted Pontiac and “the Most Versatile Vehicle On The Planet”. As of today our site has more than 1,080 members throughout the United States and Canada and donates funds to our house charity, the MS Society as well as promotes The National Center For Missing and Exploited Children (1-800-THE-LOST) on our web site.

With the demise of the Pontiac Aztek, and the introduction of the new Torrent for the 2006 model year, we are asking Pontiac dealers in our club member’s area to consider donating any items that are no longer needed that are related to the Aztek. Our club will take all donated items to our “2005 National Rally at The Point” in Sandusky, Ohio (June 24, 25 & 26th) and auction them off with the proceeds going to the MS Society. Last year the club donated $700.00 to the Melon Center at the Cleveland Clinic and that was with only 12 members in attendance. As of today we have 31 members signed up and are beginning to aggressively search for sponsors. Our main sponsor in this endeavor is Steinle Pontiac in Fremont Ohio and our contact person Chuck Miller.

Anything Aztek related is welcome, no matter how big or small and would be very much appreciated. We would also appreciate it if you could talk to your Aztek Owners about our cause.

To minimize your inconvenience, I would be happy to pick up anything that you would be willing to donate to us in a timely manner. Also our organizers would help with the cost of shipping if we need to.Please feel free to contact me in any way convenient for you and I would be happy to stop in and meet you.

Thank you in advance for your time, and look forward to hearing from you.

                                                            Scott Savage

There are a number of dealerships in my area, and I think a lot of times they do help out organizations and clubs. I don't suppose you're still sending this out?

Some of the information is out of date....but.....I could redraft it for members to send out on behalf of the club.

Sounds great, I'll take it right to the dealer I bought my Aztek from. Let us know when you have a current letter.

Yes, please. Or, honestly, if you feel more sure of it, we can PM you the dealership addresses or whatnot..

If I only could use the internet at work.  Our I.T. Dept only allows a select few sites to be visited, and they are all companies that we use to place orders.

When you become manager,  have a separate service installed.   Or try a Laptop out and maybe there is a WIFI Hot Spot Available near you.

Or better yet get a stellite servie installed in your Tek, then set it up as a mobile wireless hot spot.  Oh what we could do if budget was not a concern

they are in the process of adding Wi-Fi in all of our franchise locations, but I don't have a laptop.  I do know of a way to get out to the internet, but all of the searches are monitored by the I.T dept then reported to our Directors.  Just can't take that chance.

You can pick up a cheap laptop on Ebay or Tigerdirect.com for like 399, or cheaper if you don't want a high end machine, just something for surfing would be cheap.   Then they wouldn;t know if it were a customer or not.  But on the other hand, if they notice that 6 hours straight of the AFC might raise a flag

SCUBA, if you want to shoot me the letter's text I could format it onto some AFC "letterhead" of some sort, and then post a PDF for everyone to send/pass out.
