Take me back to the first day I joined!

WWW
« Reply #2 on: March 15, 2007, 08:38:53 PM »

OMG.

I am so overwhelmed, I do not even know where to start.  It is funny because, I know I don't have to speak on stage, but I do have a dry throat right now.

I have been on this site a little under a year now (actually I joined on my birthday) and from the first day I landed a posting I felt like I was more than just a member, but a contributor, supporter and an owner (I'm not trying to step on any toes here LOL, just a figure of speech).  Do not get me wrong, because I know that every single person here in this club contributes in there own little ways and a single post can go a long way.  Presence of individuals on a consistant basis, as this site has, proves that there is something going right here.  It proves that we are apart of a safe internet community and we feel comfortable amongst each other in expressing our day to day stories, car interests, and sometimes as life is, some hard times.  In order to have this  sence of security, we count on Moderators (MQV, Drex, Tank, Chameleon, Yellow, Krystie, Xtasy) and Ken to watch over the site and assure that the rules are implemented and that there is a standard which is followed.

I am honoured to take this role as a Moderator, and rest assure I will do my part to help and watch over the AFC.  I will assure you that I will not loose my sence of humor, I am still the Diceman with a powerdrill and if you upset me I won't reduce the torque. LOLOL  If there is a cookie trail, you might find me, and if someone is Spamming this site, I'll be right behind them, and boot them out DATEK STYLE...

Thank you

Ps...  So when do I start my training.     Fur Mom, pack your bags were goin to boot camp.

Pps...  I miss the spell check.

Well geez.... How do I follow that speech !?!?!

Thank you Ken for this appointment.  It comes as a great surprise and accomplishment.  I truly feel at home here on the AFC and I look forward to loggin on each day.

The other mods of this site do a FANTASTIC job and I hope I will compliment them in upholding the site to it's full potential.

Congrats Dice! I couldn't ask for a nicer co-pilot on this podium.  This site truly is full of AMAZING people.  We have a huge amount of talent here and that shows each and every day.
