plug it in, run a few wires, solder a few wires, cut a hole to mount the controls, it'll take some creativity.

You are probably looking at getting different stock trim parts/interior panels to fit the new radio parts too... if you want to go for a total factory system upgrade.
If your Aztek didn't come equipped with that then the panels will not include the openings/grills, etc. etc. etc.

The added cost of such stock panels could be crazy, more-so than all the effort of the wires and installing speakers.

well I've been searching like crazy in my area and still haven't found a tek with versatrack and the deluxe stereo,i've even looked in ohio, which is kind of a distance away, tried ebay,no teks, dunno does anyone know the option code that denotes it,I can run vin's on compnine, but I don't know what the option package codes mean

I don't know the EXACT code for each particular radio, not in the 2005 brochure, but I looked up on my 2005 Aztek brochure and:
The trim levels were:
1SA
1SB
1SC

The better radios were only available in the 1SB and 1SC levels. So you could ignore any 1SA trim level Azteks in your searches - if you can get that out of the seller/dealer.

so im a fairly new member on this forum in the last week ive bought 2 azteks first is a 03 awd. had front end damage. go it at copart for 500 dollars, than today i bought a 01 for 575 the 01 is awd. fully loaded with leather, sunroof and the full 10 speaker sound system. the 01 has a bad oil pump and rattles like a mother so ive decided to strip the 01 down for parts i figured i could use the 10 speaker system in my 03 but after pulling the rear panel off i found it was extermly different than the basic audio system. it looks like its a possibility but it may not be worth it. im thinking its gonna make more seince to just get a deck with a remote control.

The speakers are built into plastic enclosures on each side.  Each side holds a 6.5 inch mid bass speaker and a 4 inch full range speaker.  If they are available for sale, you would need both enclosures and then both rear cargo area side panels. They are pretty large and would be most likely pricey to ship
