Saw some pretty cool stories in this area - so I thought I'd share some of our uses for the tek.

We camp alot, we don't have the tent for the tek - it's got better uses.
The back tailgate with the built in seats, drink holders and the handy dandy radio controls back there - that is THE place to be when you back up next to a campfire.
We've also got the slide out tray option in the back end - that bugger works great to put the cooler/blender on - slide it out to make a drink - slide it back in and have a seat - lean back on the cooler and you've got a pretty comfortable party chair.

We've even been sitting back there when it started raining a bit - everyone else sitting in camping chairs complaining - we had a great roof with the hatch over our heads!

you are right about the usefullness of the rear tailgate.  As for the Tent, I did have one but sold it when we bought our popup- much more comfy that the Tek tent anyways.  The slide out tray is neat, and convienent to use, but I removed it due to the amount of space it takes up, and I do have a small sub mounted on the floor just behind the right rear seat.

Happy Tek'n.

Where you from?  we're going camping in a few weeks in Lake George, NY-  check out the NE Rally topic

Another great use for the cargo tray. If you are a new parent that tray makes the worlds best emergency diaper changing station. Theres nothing worse than trying to change a diaper in a vehicle with out a safe spot to lay a baby down. And since its plastic you dont have to worry about any mistakes on the carpet from it.

Ive even seen people at a baseball game using their tek cargo as a pull out picnic table for their cookout.
