I drove home on limp mode the other day after finding out that my mechanic couldn't fix the AWD and park in the drive way behind the Smart Car's stall leaving plenty of room for the old man to get out in the morning.  I went to work today, driving the Family truck, I got home to find the safari bar pushed up slightly and both lights that were attached destroyed.  After my dad got home, I ask and he tells me that when he brought my brother to school, he didn't pay attention and hit my Tek.  I said, "You have the smallest car in the world and you backed into another car."  He replied, "Shut up.  The windows were salted over, I was adjusting my rear view mirror, and the boy (younger brother) was yapping a mile a minuet."  So, I get new lights for the front now, but after I get the rear end fixed.

Never a dull moment.

Papa replies that "It's a short distance between a smart a$$ and a dumb a$$.  It's almost indecernable."

Our story is not quite as tragic:  On Dec 21 the "Wife" got a SMART Car because the Aztek kept giving her problems.  On Dec 23 it started snowing and just kept on,  now her SMART Car is stuck siting in the garage because it can't make it over the burms and ruts in the snow.  I've been having to drive her to work in MY Aztek without any problems and doing better that most of the 4x4s around town......Gotta Love em both.

I agree that the aztek handles great in the snow.
