Hey Wolfy, I read through your posts before I joined because I'm sure I'm going to have to do the same to "Le Greenie," but I was wondering what gasket set you used. I 've been looking at Felpro's Permatorque Severe Duty set. It comes with valve seals, valve cover seals, intake & exhaust, plenum, and head gaskets, as well as throttle body and egr gaskets. The set by Victor and Dorman even have the head bolts and intake bolts included. The gaskets are supposed to be the "problem solver" type, but some engineered problems can't be solved by a gasket. But thanks for the great pics, especially the hidden bolt under the TB- i don't have a manual yet but I wold have missed that one.

Hi Green - the Felpro Problem Solver is the one you want and the most important gasket in that set (as far as the Tek goes) is the intake manifold ones.  The ones you want are metal with black port surrounds.  Do NOT go with the black plastic ones with the orange surrounds - those will likely fail like the OEM ones did.

You're welcome for the write up and the pics - it's already helped a few people out, so it was worth doing in the long run.

Feel free to ask any questions here, or PM me and I'll give you my email and/or cell # if you need help with anything.

Good Luck!
