I figures i'd ask early on in the year, from what I gather there really hasn't been a rally since '08 did everyone just get rid of their tek's or loose interest in hanging out with other owners with teks or are there any plans popping up for an '11 rally, technically 10th anniversary, would hope something's being planned even if I had to drive out to cali from nh i'd do it,not many tek fans around here it seems

doodlebug - National and International Rallys are not exactly quick, easy, or cheap to plan and execute. Gas prices are creeping back up across the nation, getting time off of school/work (if one has a job these days), adding miles to what may be the only dependable vehicles a family has... all these options have to work out perfectly and the stars align just right for a big awesome "Rally for the ages" to occur.

There are Aztek fans here, that's the point of the site and you have to have a valid VIN number to even register. Some members, have even sold their Azteks and remain because they are true fans.

If you would like, please feel free to organize a local Mini-Rally for your region and use the forum to communicate where and when it will be to our fellow members. I went to a Mini-Rally in my area, just three of us... but it was fun to see other Azteks and meet great people! Give it a try and keep on Tekkin!

As for "THE 2011 Rally" ... it's still not planned, but you are right, the plans need to get into motion soon.

No, no... I didn't mean to "poo" on you - You had a great and valid question. It is just that Rallys are just MUCH work, epically with  :ca: :us: road trips!
A local one is a great idea - plus you can meet others that you'll see more often and can have fun modding out your Azteks together.

Keep your ideas and questions coming, doodlebug. Good work! Every Aztek Fan is Driven to be Unique Wink

We did have Azteks in a parade.  The 2006 and 2007 rallies out in Loudonville Ohio.  The first time we had like 25 Teks there.
I'll have to look for some pics and add them.  Can't do it here from the phone though.  I'm one of those former owners but still a fan of the Tek.  I haven't had my Tek for going on 5 years now.  I loved the Tek, but needed more towing capacity to pull my camper.  Lol since then I'm on my second truck and second camper

I see Teks all over the place here in Olathe, Kansas, and surrounding areas, but I don't know how many are in the club...most look at me like I'm crazy when I wave. Any idea how you would get the word out? I think it would be a great idea to have a local run, and I know I'm not the only one who likes modifing my ride! I just dont know where to start. Can you order the aztekfanclub decals? Let me know, summer is coming up, and I'm not planning on going out EVERY weekend LOL

I've written it several times before, the best place to hold a rally is at the Pontiac Nationals in Norfolk Ohio.  The event is in August every year at the Norfolk speedway not too far away from Sandusky (Cedar Point).

That would be a good place.  Do you know the dates for it this year?  Only reason I ask is that we go to Dayton for the Trans Am Nationals the last weekend of August and if it was that weekend, we might wander up that way......in the GTA as the Aztek won't pull the car trailer lol.

Too bad they aren't the same weekend.  Don't think we can afford to make two trips to OHIO from KC in a month lol.
