Ok, I'm new to the site and the club but I am really interested in this Aztek Rally or Pontiac Nationals. Anyway, I love my 2002 Tek and was wondering if someone would share some info about attending the event...

This is an email I received from the Organizers

Also attached is more information......

Sorry Everyone, I received this last week.  With the job search and the flaky internet, I totally forgot to post

Hi,

My name is Andi Woodruff and my husband Pete & I own & promote the Ames Performance Tri Power Pontiac Nationals.  I know that one of your members has contacted Summit Motorsports Park about bringing your members to the track for the event.

I've been following the forum postings but cannot register because we don't personally own an Aztek.  I would like to send our Specialty Car Organization Participation information to whomever is posting the rally information.  We also would like the opportunity to discuss the event with the organizers.  Please forward the attached document and our contact information.  Our phone number is (419) 663-7383.  We are generally in the office from 9 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. EST.    This week we will be working at the track for the NHRA Nationals but we will be available in the evenings or next Monday.

Thank you,
Andi Woodruff

well……

You’re getting found out now under the bright lights.

The campground doesn't need reservations for tent camping.  We can just show up.  Let me know if your coming so we can get sites next to each other.

I'm very disappointed with the feedback (none) so far.

Will I be the only Aztek at the Pontiac Nationals?

I contacted the Pontiac Nationals and its only 20 dollars for the day to show the car with driver and 15 for each extra adult.

There is no need to reserve a spot early but let me know if your coming so we can save a few places to be together.  They said the event hasn't reduced the attendance due to the economy but there are more people looking to sell their vehicles this year than previously.

It's never too late.  No need to register.  Just should coordinate with me so we can camp together and stay together at the event.

Aw, well I can't come since I am not in MI, or else I proabably would.  Let's have a mini rally in KC, and I will bring some tools and steal someone's light bar when they sleep...jk

Leaving Thursday morning so I won't be able to receive e-mails after that.  You would find me camping at the KOA previously mentioned or at the Summit Speedway. You would have to look for my car at both locations as there is no predetermined place.  If that fails, go to the Firehawk crowd at the speedway where I will also be hanging around.  That car has the gold stripes so it should be easily identifiable.

Would love to spend time with other Aztek enthusiasts.

You missed a great weekend people!!!

There was only one Aztek that entered the show.  DemonGP, Joanne, and she won FIRST PLACE.

Friday I went to Cedar Point.  It was a great day.

Saturday was a washout, but it gave us all that came a chance to talk and meet new people.

Sunday was a hot 94 degrees and humid and I got sunburned.

CONGRATULATIONS Joanne.  Oh, no one ever mentioned the train at the campground.  Lucky I brought earplugs.
