On Sunday June 22, I presented a cash donation of $280 to Kent Schaffer of the town of Loudonville.  He, along with many other loyal townspeople are working on a project in town to connect a paved bike trail from the center of Loudonville to the paved trails in the Loudonville State Park.  They are working on clearing and paving a 3 mile section of trail.  They are relying on donations to complete the project as the State has already completed their part, with no intentions on doing more.

The town of Loudonville, Loudonville Motors and Loudon Auto Parts have done much for us over the past 3 years Rallies held there.  We thought it only fitting that we do something to give back to them.  Although we would have loved to give more, this wasn't a bad number for the small group of Rally attendees.  Thanks again for those who participated.  Any others that wish to still contribute to their cause..  Send a check to:

Kent Schaffer at Loudon Auto Parts...300 West Main Street... Loudonville, Ohio 44842.  Just drop a note inside saying that you're with the AFC and would like to help with their Bike trail project.  I'm sure they would appreciate the extra financial help.  Ps, they don't know I just posted or even suggested this...
