He and I talked about it earlier today.  What does your rally schedule look like?  Is a car wash something you'd be interested in have organized, or just a 'stop by' kinda thing?  I think he was liking the idea of around noon on Friday, but it all depends on what you guys want and how you want to go about doing it.  I guess what I'm asking is do you want a structured time to meet there, or how would you prefer doing it?

BTW, he has an Astek GT for a loaner/rental car, also.

After 3 years of begging and pleading with businesses to help out it is refreshing to see someone step forward to help out our cause. I want you to know how much the group and organizers appreciate this gesture. Than you very much for you participation.

-_- I have to say that this is a terrific and generous offer! We would be willing to keep in touch with you on that Friday and let you know when all of the members have arrived. Our group from Illinois, Wisconsin, & Minnesota will hopefully be in by 12:00-1:00. The wash would be great before we gather at Rader's. Let me also be the first to extend a dinner invitation on Friday to you as well as join us around the campfire Friday or Saturday (communal dinner night!) night (or both). Thank you for a great invitation and thank you for your hospitality! Scott

Hey Kent,

I'd like to echo everyone's THANK YOU! I'm part of the convoy coming from Illinois (I'm the Minnesota guy).

Now you did make the mistake of saying "anything else I can offer"Huh Smiley

Well, now that you mentioned it,  being you own a parts store and your family owns the Pontiac dealer.........any chance of getting some great discounts on parts???   A lot of us have purchased from GM Parts Direct which offers some decently discounted prices on genuine GM parts, but their shipping can be a bit high.  There are a number of items I need to order but would certainly rather order them from you and your family, especially if I can get them at the same or cheaper price and you've been nice enough to volunteer to participate.  I'm going to hold off placing my order until I hear back from you.

Really looking forward to meeting you.

Is the GT a car that's for sale on your lot or a usual rental/loaner vehicle you guys have?

You mentioned the decal you were working on.  That's awesome.  Let us know if we need to chip in some $$$ to make that happen.

Thanks again!!!!

A sincere thank you from New Jersey. How very kind and generous of you to offer this to us. Please consider joining us at the campground for activities, dinners. etc. (Joining us for camping would be cool too,,,)

Again, thank you for your offer, and we are looking forward to meeting you.

Ok, talking to dad, he would like to set a time that he can expect you...it can be a range too.  I sure that you guys have a busy weekend scheduled, but could the rally organizers perhaps get together and let me know what time you like to have the car wash?  I live on the dealership grounds so even the weekend or evenings are fine.  I think he was preferring Friday afternoon.

As far as some discounts on parts go, get me the GM numbers you need and I'll get you a quote.  If it's acceptable, we'll order them in and have them ready for you to pick up.

The 'Tek he has as loaner/rental is NOT for sale...I tried buying it for my wife and he wouldn't sell it to me

Joining you throughout the weekend will be spotty to say the least...I'm very busy anymore and hardly have time to enjoy my hobbies and my wife.

To the best of my knowledge, there are a total of 4 Azteks in Loudonville, Mine, my dad's, and the other two are owned by older individuals that I don't think will be all that motivated to participate in the Rally...sorry.

-_- Well first of as as far as a time frame... we are having dinner at 7:00pm on Friday night at Rader's, so I would imagine if we wanted to freshen up the Azteks before then, I would say we would be in the 5:00-6:00 range??? Maybe a bit earlier?? Does that sound right to everyone??

Second, Could you please price out the Aztek tent package for the 2002-2005 years? My dealer was around $95 without the mattress. Thant would be great...I would rather give you the business.

Thanks, Scott

Do you want it with or without the mattress?  i priced one for my wife's with the mattress and I was thinking it was $150.

Also, I guess the time for the car wash has been set for Friday between 4-6pm.  The coords for the car wash are (for all you GPS geeks):

N  40*38.147'
W 82*14.266'

See you all there...

Hey Kent,

Very cool.   I think it would be nice to get all shined up right when we get into town.   I'll be driving though Wisconsin in the evening on Thursday, so I'll certainly have a think layer of bugs to clean off.

I'll PM you with the part numbers as soon as I find them.  That would be sweet if I can get them through you!

Thanks again,

 -_- Santoken,
I was looking for one without the mattress. I have never been a big fan of air mattresses (Bad lower back!) and they seemed to make alot of noise (With my hefty weight, they seemed to crying for help!). We have a futon mattress we'll use back there with some blankets. We are doing a trial run in the backyard this weekend.

Ok, I spoke with my dad's parts manager about the tent kit, he told me there is very little room to work as far as pricing goes.  I was wrong on the price on a tent kit with mattress.  The prices are WITH mattress $195 and WITHOUT mattress $119.  He said that the problem is these are not necessarily parts but rather third-party accessories, so the markup is not the greatest.  Anyway, if anyone is interested, let me know.
