Hey Ya'll   check out the information that the Convention and Visitors Bureau of Loudonville / Mohican has posted:

http://www.loudonville-mohican.com/

click on all events on lower right side and then click on the Rally Days.

Sorry, she only added the picture of my Tek-  they never heard of an Aztek.    LOL

Please note:  the link to www.aztekfanclub.com listed on the Convention and Visitors Bureau of Loudenville / Mohican's web page will not link you back to our website, since we are not affiliated with the Bureau.

Never mind that issue has been resolved with the link.

And the link on their page now does work.  I have just received an application to join the Convention and Visitors Bureau, and am filling it out as we speak.

Anyone who lives in the Loudonville area- If you have seen our event on your local Convention and Visitor Bureau and would like more information, please feel free to email me at 97drexelgrad@aztekfanclub.com, or even better register here at the aztekfanclub.com website.  The membership is free so what do you have to lose - but rather how much can you gain.

We would love to have local Aztek owners show us around your town, and more importantly participate in the Rally.

Anyone know of a local carwash we can use to get our Teks all nice and clean after our trips from more than 10 different states along with members driving in from Canada ?

Hello everyone, my name is Kent and I own an Aztek...

Heh, anyway, my name is Kent Schaffer, and I own an auto parts store in Loudonville, Ohio.  My family also owns the local Pontiac-GMC-Chevrolet-Buick dealership right across the street from my parts store.  My dad and I were talking today about doing something to help you all out...

What is your thoughts on having an open car wash on Friday for you all to wash your 'Teks?  I will provide all the needed items and my dad will provide the water and the facilities...thoughts?

Also, on a side note I'm working on a small (4"x4" or so) decal for the rally.  Basically it will just say something like "2006 AzteK Fan Club Rally Mohican Country Ohio" or some such...thoughts?

What else can I offer?

BTW, why on the Aztek fan club forum does the word 'Aztek' come up as being mispelled with the spell check?

Kent,

I am also one of the 2006 National Aztek Rally Organizers.  While I can't speak for everyone, I know I would be interested.  I have somewhat a haul coming down from Detoit and I am sure the front end will be covered in bugs.  I would like to make the Newfie Hauler somewhat presentable to the other Azteks, especially considering mine is black and shows dirt pretty well.  I definately appreciate the offer here by both you and your family.

The decal sounds like a great touch.  It will give us all something to remember the time we will spend in your community.

I know the spell check thing has been caught by a few people.  It would be one of the first things I wish that I could change.  But, I suspect it has something to do with the software for that function and I am not sure if there is any way to get it to accept other spellings or not.  That would be a good question for our site owner, Tom Moog.  I can mention that to him the next time we chat.

Looking forward to meeting you and your family soon.

BTW, are there many other Azteks in your community, just curious?

Kent, although I won't be attending the rally, I just want to thank you for such a generous offer! I know I would certainly take advantage of it if I was there. This rally certainly seems to be one I will be sorry to miss.

Kent,

I was so hoping that you and your father would be able to help out with our event.  It was a pleasure talking to both you and your father on the phone, and the gesture that you both have offered here is admirable and very much appreciated.  I just knew there was something about your town that would catch our eyes and our hearts, and make us want to return there for the 2007 Rally.

Kent, you and your dad (Tom ) are planning on meeting us at Raders for our get together, right ? We sure do hope so !

Count me in for the wash, my trip is about 500 miles.
