Yellow 01 Aztek w/ sunroof, DVD, & fold-out table

This question may of already been asked;  How much is it per night to camp in your Tek?  I am trying to budget out the trip.  I don't have a tent package yet.  But I can pick one up ^_^.

The pricing is kind of complicated. You need to go back to the first page 3rd post where Kim posted the 800 number for the campgrounds. All reservations and payments are being made directly by participants with the campgrounds. Neither Kim or I have the time to get the monies together and take care of the campgrounds this year. We're still trying to put together a price per person for everything else we have planned for this year.

We're also looking for the $25.00 pre-registration fees. So far I've received only 7. This money is used to get the designs for the t-shirts and pay to have the t-shirts done plus whatever is left over goes to the MS Society. Without this I have no way of knowing if I'm going through the hassle of getting t-shirts printed or not and wasting the time of the people involved in pricing t-shirts. Most places require a minimum of 50 shirts.

Of course the hacking of the site, the change in locations and all hasn't helped. I talked to Kim Saturday and we're still trying to get a few prices from the campgrounds. Once that's firmed up I'll post a price and we'll have a very short time to get me the money for the rest of the shirts, the cookout for Friday night and Saturday mornings breakfast.

So we only have "7" paid registered Azteks signed up to attend this Rally so far for this year?  (Yikes!!)
I thought past Rally's had at least like 20-25 Azteks in participation?

So is there a possibility that this Rally may be cancelled due to low turn out...or will it still go on regardless of how many teks show up?  I think one thing that would really, really help out is knowing more about "what else" is going to take place at the Rally.  We are hearing about some wonderful things at the campground...but what else is to take place?  Is there going to be a caravan of teks to go see some sort of local attraction?  Is this going to be like a "car show" where the moderators will judge the Teks for like 1st, 2nd and 3rd place?

I for one "do" plan to attend and need to get Jack my registration/money ASAP.  However, i do have a 12 hour drive to get to the Rally and would love to know more of what to expect with the Rally Weekend.

From my Official Unofficial Rally Attendee post, There are IIRC 15 people who said they would be attending.  So if you are of that number, please send the $25 pre-registration fee to Jack via PayPal or check to the address listed in the post.  It is crunchtime, we need your help in making this event a huge success.  If you are still thinking about attending, keep in mind that we would love to have you join us- remember the more the merrier.

And even if it was just Jack attending, it would be worth the trip. So yes, the Rally must go on!!!

kansastek,

To kind of answer your question concerning activities.  I believe that another post, either on this thread or another thread outlined what ammenities are available at the campround.  In addition to that, plans are being put together to hold session of Aztek Teknical Training (featuring ANDE2004 and myself as the Tek Trainers).  You can also count on several rounds of campfire Newie Trivia (lol that might get interesting as the night wears on).  We are also still discussing the idea of an "Aztek Show" and perhaps an all Aztek Cruise, however, those items are still all in the planning stages.  Obviously, the more Azteks we have for this the better.  We will be posting a tentative agenda shortly.

For those who have not yet signed up:
Let me make this plea to one and all.  If you have a question you have been just dying to ask, have an issue with your Aztek that is hard to explain (better diagnosed in person), this is your chance!  We will have several Teknical members on hand that will do their best to help you in any way we can.  I think all of those that were signed up last year can tell you what a blast we had caravaning to the dealerhip with well over 20 Azteks (can't recall the total count).  LOL, Newfie was in charge of "bringing up the rear."  So I got a great view of the lineup and seeing the look on everyone's face as we passed them by.

It seems that the information about the rally is rather dispursed.  Can someone make a sticky thread that is locked and the first post is edited with the latest and all information?  It may help those of us that want to print a sheet for our significant others to help convince them.

Sad yea, no luck yet for me.

well……

Would be Kinda hard to get his wife to the Rally without her Knowing.   I can hear it now, "I'm sorry Honey, I didn't mean to take us to the Aztek Rally"

tell your significant other that you're taking them to Florida, or somewhere and hope they are asleep and end up in Ohio.

Judy did not know of any special pricing and weekend rate is $60 a night. I guess if that changes, we will know when we get there in person.  It is also an x-tra charge for any additional persons besided 2 whether in cabins or at campsite.  So what the Hey, I did it anyway!
