Greetings all,

This message is directed to the Organizers of the 2006 Rally,

I have been noticing members seem to be confused over a number of aspects of this years rally.

If everyone could give an update on the status of what they are working on it would keep everyone in the loop.

I know that Newfie and ANDE are preparing the Tek Training sessions, and so far the list looks very interesting, Forgive me I cannot find where it was posted on the site.

I know that we are Staying at the KOA Campground in South Bulter OH,  There seems to be some confusion by members over the following in respect to this.
  1.  I know we have a block of campsites reserved.  How long will they hold them, When do we have to book by.
  2.  Ditto for the Kabins,  Although I have read that they are all booked for that weekend, did we miss out or are they holding a block for us.

97DrexelGrad has been feverishly working on getting sponsors and donations for the Rally, not to mention shamelessly promoting the club to any Tek that he sees.

Myself, I will be organizing and taking the group photo on Saturday Morning so I can get it to the Photo Lab and Printed by Sunday Morning for the participants to take with them.  Also Once people are registered I will need their Name, Screen Name and a photo of their Tek for their Nametag.

I have prepared a Flyer that I will be posting at my dealership, it is available here http://www.kkrphoto.com/AFCRally.pdf for use by anyone who wants to promote the Rally,  I have left the Bottom Blank to insert your contact information.  If you do not want to use your own, Feel Free to use mine at kkrphoto@yahoo.com, I'll be happy to respond to inquiries.

I know the Rally is still 2 months away, but this is the time of year when people are planning out their summer trips,  and I fear if we wait too long we may miss some members from being able to attend.

Sorry I haven't been around much I'm extremely busy.

I just finally heard from Kimberly and have her new number. I need to talk to her as she has made contact with the campground owners. So far I've gotten ONLY 4 pre-registrations. I know losing all the info on the site hasn't helped. Those of you who sent a check I have yet to cash them. I hope to have more info by this weekend. If we're going to pull this off we need to get moving.

Jack

PS I can be around Friday morning in the chat room if there is any interest.

 I ditto Jacks comments. I haven't been around much lately and when I am on it's for a quick moment.

What can I do?? I was thinking of putting together some music and movie trivia to play when we are sitting around the campfire. But feel like I am not living up to my potential here!!!!

Jack- I will paypal you the money for the reservation by the weekend, if I can sit down for 2 minutes at home. (baseball season started and coaching is a big time consumer!!!!) I have to find out if friends of ours are going to go with us and drive Michell's Aztek.

Let me know if I can help with anything!! Scott

UPDATE!
The campground is Butler/Mohican KOA, contact person is Judy Johnson

We currently have 11 cabins held, I believe 2 are booked at the moment (Jack Egan and a Brian Erazmus??)
We have 16 campsites held, currently placing two Teks per site (They are HUGE sites) so that means 32 AVAIALABLE for campers.

For registration, please call 1-800-562-8719 ask for Judy. Pricing is still being worked out, but folks can go ahead and reserve their place with a portion of the fee being paid. Please follow up with me at k.guidone@sbcglobal.net when you have made reservations, so I can keep track of who we have in cabins vs tents/Teks.

I will organize placement of campers as I did last year, Organizers will again be in a central location.

Breakfast is being offered at $3 per person this includes all you can eat pancakes, two sausage links, coffee and orange juice.

We are also working on getting a meat cooker for the first night, pricing being negotiated.

Please e-mail be with ANY Questions!!!! k.guidone@sbcglobal.net ANYONE CAN E-MAIL
I apologize for being off the radar, life has thrown me some curve balls, but i am all yours now!!

By the way, do we have more than 4 pre-registered now?

I received my confirmation statement shortly after making the reservation. I purchased the KOA Value
Card ($14), which gave me a 10% discount on the cabin.  It is a 2-room Kamping Kabin (Cabin #2),
which has AC, but no other "conveniences".  The website has detailed description on features, rates,
and prices for additional services i.e. linen package.  Judy told me they have only 2 kinds of cabins on
their site: the one described above, and a 1-room cabin; not sure which one it is from the listing on the
website.  I got the impression there were no utilities in these cabins, just the "bath house" with showers
and the like.  We're looking forward to the experience (with varying degrees of enthusiasm among the clan.
