ANDE,

That list looks great.  I feel that those are some pretty common areas that people have had questions on or would make their life with their Tek sooooo much easier.

To All Members:  One item to note on #3, that mark is for the alignment of all wipers for all model years.  There are some other related helpful hints.  Such as, to some degree you can avoid this if they are reasonably close by doing what GM did starting in 2002 - moving to two different sized wiper blades.  This is what I mean when I say that there are a lot of little subtle things that people may or may not know.  This will be the perfect opportunity to learn many of these lessons and gain some new valuable tips.

I can demonstrate how to dissassemble the interior to get to the SDM.   Nah really that list looks pretty complete.  I am so looking forward to the Rally and meeting all you fine folks.

hey Jennygram,

Things are progressing slowly but surely with the Rally plans.  Things have been pretty crazy with the site renovations but...  There are several of us that are even heading up to the site on thursday, How about you??  As for a cabin, I spoke with the KOA campground owners directly and it looks like that I may have gotten the last cabin available (with AC too) so please don't hate me. LOL.  Since the site has changed, some of the plans we had arranged are now changed since the distance to travel as a group would be too great, so were working on some alternatives.  There are plenty of on site activities including:  fishing, swimming, Newfie's Trivia, softball etc.

So don't lose faith:  " Build it and they will come "

Jennygram,

You may want to try and email/PM Jack directly now that the site is back up and running (previous message may have been lost when the site went down?).

Are there going to be any close by hotels or other "enclosed" facilities?  I need my running water and electricity to survive, I camped once and hated it terribly.  I think on the old forum I posted I was interested, but not sure about it yet.

SlickInBlack ,

I am in the same boat in a way, as I too will be searching for a motel room nearby.  I will let everyone know if I find anything and where.  I will provide contact information when I get it.  Since I don't live in that area, I will have to go by what their website shows.  So if might be a bit of a gamble.  I will stick with a major chain motel, so that we stand the best chance of getting descent rooms.

It was my understanding that there would be a "block" of cabins held for our group so we
could be together at the campground, and that sign-ups for the available cabins would be
forthcoming.  From what I've been reading, it sounds like the cabins have all been taken; when
did this happen??  It seems so unlikely, given the post Jack sent 10 days ago indicated there were
only three pre-registrations received.  Did I miss something here??  Was I supposed to make my own
reservations, and now have somehow missed the boat?  We were looking forward to staying in a cabin,
being fun for the kids and close to the camp activities. Desperately seeking clarification!

ummmm...a little confusion here, as with others also I can see.  Last year we sent our camp rent into the organizers and our camp site was reserved FOR us.........are we supposed to do our own this year?  Whos in charge of this? (with all due respect!) and I believe we want a site next to Sharon (QT) so our kiddos can play together!  unless this has changed Sharon...Huh?

Thanks,
Sharon A.  (mrs Ande2004)

HELLO???  Anyone out there to explain what we are suppose to do if we do register for the rally?  Can we get a little update on what's going on with the campsite and what we have to do?  I'm very hesitant of even registering for it now.

I talked to Kim this morning and she is going to try and get in touch with the campgrounds today. I know we have a block reserved and as soon as I hear form Kim I'll post it

The reason behind having everyone reserve their own camp site is time. Neither Kim or I have the time we had last year to gather the money and set up the campgrounds reservations. I'm going to be getting the t-shirt design together but with only 4 pre-registrations it makes it hard for me to commit monies I don't have, plus the price varies with the number you order!!

For those of you who are new here you have absolutely no idea what it takes to pull this thing together, so have a little faith in the organizers here.
